Be Smart about Snow and Ice
Ireland and UK were crippled by Ice and Snow, grit shortages, burst pipes abandoned cars, broken bones - twice in 2010. The forecast is for more of the same in the next few months.
Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Germany and Italy get this weather every year but they don't descend into chaos because they expect snow and ice and they prepare - the same way we prepare for rain and wind.
